What's the hardest part of training?
Normally the hardest part is actually getting started. The more I put it off during my day, the more the idea of it becomes somehow bigger and more difficult. The anticipation of a tough session is often worse than the reality. Because once I’m doing it, even if it’s super intense, there’s part of me that enjoys the savagery.

This is a question we ask ourselves every day, whether you're trying to get fit or become an elite athlete. And while there are many aspects to consider, it always boils down to one thing: motivation. Training takes time, effort and consistency. You have to continuously keep in mind what you are trying to achieve by working out and focus on the end result - not just the short term benefits of a new-found muscle or weight loss.

A random fact from my life is that I love to read. But the best thing about reading is when you can get lost in the world and forget about everything except what your imagination creates.
What is it about indoor cycling that appeals to you?
I love indoor cycling because it's a workout that does not require me to leave my house or have access to the outdoors. This makes it convenient for me to stay fit during the winter months or if I don't feel like doing my normal workout routine. Indoor cycling has also been the backbone of my training for the past few years. I love it for its convenience and its ability to keep me fit and listen to music during a workout. The gear is simple and inexpensive, it's easy to change shoes or add new bikes when needed, there's no real risk of injury compared to riding outdoors, and there are so many options in terms of fitness levels that you can choose from.

I love the fact that when I'm riding hard like that, my mind is free of everything. The only thought is to just keep pedaling. It is the best way to relax my mind and just focus on breathing and appreciating what is around me.

What feature of ROUVY helps you the most to train? I really like the workouts feature to help build strength and force myself to do the intervals, but the Strava segments are a much more fun way to get the intervals in and the reward of pushing yourself harder than you thought you could is quantifiable
