COL DU PILLON - A CLIMBING PARADISE IN THE ALPES VAUDOISES

Aigle, a historic town and municipality, lies on the eastern side of the Rhône valley in the Swiss Alps and close to Lake Geneva. This capital of the district of Aigle, in the canton of Vaud overlooking terraced vineyards and the beautiful surrounding Swiss landscape, is also the famous World Cycling Centre site with its famous indoor velodrome and includes the UCI headquarters.
