JOIN STAGE 6!
From Spain’s central plateau, Stage 6 descends, creating a perfect opportunity for bunch breakaways to form heading towards the urban area of Monte Sant Antoni. To the south of Valencia on the Mediterranean coast, a section of the stage with only 85m of ascent will comprise a flat part of Stage 6 of La Vuelta on Rouvy, ending at the tropical resort of Cullera. However, for the pros, this will total a distance of 158km, ending on a steep climb of 21%.
It will be a flat route apart from a slight but steep ascent in the first half of the course, and after which, it will wind its way towards the finish line situated at the Cullera Castle. Enjoy the sites of this historic resort town with its restored hilltop fortress built in the 10th century with beautiful scenic water views along the coast overlooking the beach.
