Hanne de Vet

The Belgian triathlete who goes by the nickname of ‘Vetje’ was born in Brasschaat in Flanders just south of the Dutch border. A first appearance in the Super League Triathlon Championship series is the latest step in fulfilling her multisport potential.

"I am Hanne De Vet, 24 y/o triathlete from Belgium. I am semi-professional as I am still studying physiotherapy on the side. I used to be a competitive swimmer, but this became too boring for me and I needed a new challenge in life, triathlon. I have always been a very active person my entire life and I am privileged to be engaged in sports full-time. My goal is to become one of the best in the world. I love doing what I do, so you will always see me walking around with a smile. I like to bring joy to everyone’s life and always see the positive side."
