2025 E-Fondo Series

To open the 2025 E-Fondo Series, preview a key portion of the 2025 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships course in Frederick, Maryland. This course features both steep and rolling hills through beautiful farmland. This E-Fondo will include three timed segments. Time section #3 is the same as Time Section #4 in the IRL course, while Sections #1 and #2 are being considered for use in the 2025 route. This route includes some of the best serpentine roads, climbs, and descents around Asheville. This E-Fondo will include three timed segments. The SUAREZ Gran Fondo National Series is proud to present the 5th Annual E-Fondo Series, presented by Wahoo. This unique 6-event e-sports cycling competition features timed segment competitions and allows riders to preview and compete on Series routes used in our real-world events. The E-Fondo Series will run weekly (3 start times each Sunday) from January 19, 2025 through February 23, 2025. Riders who complete at least four of the six events will qualify for the E-Fondo Series Points Competition. Riders who finish in the top 15% of their age group in the E-Fondo Series Points Competition will qualify for a start position in the 2025 USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships event in Frederick, Maryland on September 14, 2025. Founded in 2012 by event director Reuben Kline, the Gran Fondo National Series is the largest and most competitive series of gran fondo cycling events in the United States, with fourteen owned and partner-events nationwide.
