Great virtual racing experience, enabling athletes to ride the iconic cycling locations or the next real-life event from home, is the core of ROUVY’s augmented cycling reality platform. This time ROUVY takes athletes on a virtual World Tour with 5 races in 5 different countries! These 5 racing days will test cyclists for climbing, tactical and time trial skills, on both long and short routes. Racing starts on February 2nd on Passo Sella, with a visit to the Italian Alps. Conquering the Passo Sella will involve the exciting exploration of one of the routes of Maratona dles Dolomites in 1:1 reality.

RACE FORMAT AND RULES
- The competition is open to anyone with a smart trainer. Athletes of all levels are welcome to join. Mass start for all riders.
- Each day is an individual stand-alone single race with the individual and overall general classification and country standings based on points.
- Bike selection and drafting are available and always “ON”.
- La Lancha, the last race on Feb 7th, is a Time Trial.
- Ranking in the series is based on the best 3 results in the races. In each race, points are distributed accordingly.
- Any rider who finishes at least 3 of the 5 races will get a chance to win the main prize - an indoor trainer from ELITE Cycling!
- COUNTRY BATTLE: Support your country in the Country's General Classification. Every result counts toward the leaderboard. Spread the word about the series, get your friends on board and have fun representing your country!

The main prize: ELITE Direto XR + ELITE ZUGAMAN Towel + ELITE Training mat
Direto XR is ELITE’s most powerful Plug & Play trainer and includes a pre-installed 11-speed Shimano® 11-28 or equivalent cassette. In fact, the whole trainer comes fully assembled. The integrated power meter with the OTS (Optical Torque Sensor) ensures DIRETO XR ensures ± 1.5% accuracy. Prize winners will be selected from random draws, so every athlete with at least 1 completed race has a chance to win. To be eligible for the main prize of ELITE DIRETO XR, the rider should have at least finished any of the 3 races in the series.
REQUIREMENTS:
Athletes wishing to participate in the Travel The World series must have a smart trainer, bike, and a device capable of using ROUVY, such as a phone, tablet, computer, or AppleTV, connected to the Internet. A valid ROUVY account is also required and new riders are offered an additional 14-day free trial to be part of the action.
