The new collaboration will see ROUVY bring key stages and sections of both the men’s and women’s Giro d’Italia courses to life over the coming seasons as part of its ongoing mission to bring professional cycling closer to its users and community. The range of pro races in RCS’s portfolio presents a selection of routes to explore, with this weekend’s Strade Bianche already available in the ROUVY app alongside many iconic climbs often featured in the Giro.
“The Giro d’Italia and all of RCS’s races represent highlights in the pro cycling calendar for a large part of the cycling community, and to be able to bring these to life for our own riders at ROUVY is a really exciting step. " explained Petr Samek, ROUVY CEO. "We know that our community enjoys connecting indoor riding with inspiring outdoor routes we see the best in the world race over, so we’re looking forward to expanding this library over the months to come.”
Alongside the benefit to ROUVY’s community, the close collaboration between the race organisers and ROUVY provides partner teams with access to key stage profiles to train on indoors and recon routes ahead of race day. For amateurs, ROUVY is also transforming both the Gran Fondo Strade Bianche and Gran Fondo Il Lombardia race courses into digital twins where anybody can train, scout the route, and even ride it again retrospectively.

Team Visma Lease-a-Bike rider Wout van Aert added:
“I do a lot of my riding outdoors, but when I need to ride inside, ROUVY allows me to visualise routes like Strade Bianche as a reminder of what’s to come. Knowing that routes from other races like Milano-San Remo and Tirreno Adriatico will also be available to ride on ROUVY is great.”
ROUVY is already working on plans to capture real-life routes from the range of RCS races as part of this new partnership, each recording to be made on race day itself to fully capture the atmosphere of the fans and race environment. These routes include Strade Bianche, Milano-San Remo, Giro d'Italia and Milano-Torino.
ROUVY takes over the partnership previously held by former indoor cycling app Bkool, which was acquired by ROUVY in 2025. As part of its commitment to its users in bringing the best elements of Bkool to life across the community, the Giro d’Italia partnership was clearly well-utilised by the former Bkool community and as such, one that ROUVY was keen to reignite.
Paolo Bellino, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of RCS Sports & Events also commented:
“Giro d'Italia and our other iconic events, like Strade Bianche, are defined by their breathtaking landscapes and legendary routes. Our partnership with ROUVY brings these experiences directly to fans worldwide, allowing them to immerse themselves in our races like never before. It's a game-changer for fan engagement, making our events accessible 365 days a year – and ROUVY is the perfect partner to make it happen.”
New routes from RCS Sports’s collection of races will be added throughout the season. Existing routes captured from last year’s Strade Bianche are available for ROUVY users, including here:
