The toughest one-day cycling race in the world takes place In the heart of the Valais Alps. The Tour des Stations traverses the enchanting landscapes of Valais, from the vineyards to the high mountains, crossing natural pastures, small authentic villages, and internationally recognized resorts. The outdoor event was just sold out with 1,700 registered participants. In this special year, the Tour des Stations and ROUVY have thought of riders who could not participate in this edition due to COVID-19. This Saturday, August 8 at 5:00 p.m. CET, riders from all over the world will be able to compete in a virtual race on the route between Nendaz and Col de la Croix-de-Coeur (20.8m and 1100mD+). The global community of cycling enthusiasts and pros are invited to ride along from their homes virtually. On the docket are the mythical passages of the green forest (2 km in gravel with a passage at 17%) and the exceptional climb on the Croix-de-Coeur.

It was important for us to propose an alternative to all people who wanted to feel the experience of Tour des Stations in 2020” said Gregory Saudan, president of Tour des Stations organization.

Though only two years old, the Tour des Stations has already established itself as a European staple for the most-awaited cyclosportives on the summer calendar. On Saturday, August 10, 2019, more than 2000 cyclists of all levels braved difficult weather conditions during the second edition of the Tour des Stations. With participation from 27 different nationalities, the challenge reunites participants from all over the world toward a common goal of pushing the limits together on the same road.
