Here is the chance for riders worldwide to take on sections of this mettle-testing climb from their own homes! In cooperation with the virtual cycling app ROUVY, and to celebrate the Taiwanese iconic event’s 10th anniversary, cyclists can now ride two segments of the Taiwan KOM Challenge and, as an added bonus, also summit the mountain from the west side.
Mindful that many from the international cycling community will be unable to travel to Taiwan to take part in this year's 39-th edition on October 29th, there will also take place a virtual race. This virtual race will be held on the 30th of October, Saturday at 8pm Taiwan time. Participants will be categorized into age groups (male and female), and all those who complete the event will then be eligible to win a free entry to any future Taiwan KOM Challenge’s outdoor race events.
The virtual KOM Challenge is on ROUVY now and will run till November 14th 2021.
