*‘La Vuelta Virtual’ is a year-round project to bring the Spanish tour to everyone’s home around the world. Therefore, ROUVY continuously releases the most exciting and immersive official routes of La Vuelta. From Dec 7th to Dec 19th, cyclists of all levels are invited to compete virtually with the Burgos BH pro riders. Just the same as last year, the Spanish team won’t miss this 10-stage augmented version of the 2021 Vuelta a España either. The tour provides the opportunity to experience and relive the pro battles and visit sunny Spain online. Everyone has a chance to win exciting prizes from the series sponsors: ELITE Cycling and Santini. *
With the indoor cycling season now in full swing, riders of all abilities can race in the exact famous locations as the pros from the World Tour Teams! 1:1 ROUVY’s immersive augmented reality lets one ride in Spain’s most beautiful and iconic places. Currently, there are thirty-three quality La Vuelta routes in the vast ROUVY catalog. All of them can be enjoyed for either the excitement of racing competitively, or for training enjoyment while exploring new places.
Race virtually and feel like a pro!
Getting a feel for what it is like to be a pro just for one day, let alone ten days, is undoubtedly a new experience for anyone up for the grand tour challenge. Special guests from Burgos BH UCI ProTeam are joining the ‘La Vuelta Virtual Grand 10’ race series, so watch out for the violet jerseys!
Just as most Grand Tour stages start with a Time Trial, so does this series. The tour will visit some famous places. Luz Ardiden is one of the most spectacular and challenging climbs starting from Occitanie, France, situated in the beautiful Pyrénées National Park. (In this place LV had a finishing stage twice in its history.) The just as famous and iconic Alto de L’Angliru will close the climbing part of the series. It is known as one of the toughest ascents in La Vuelta’s history with its steep mountain road in Asturias, near La Vega-Riosa, in northern Spain. The grand finale will end in a TT, just as it occurred in the real La Vuelta 21, where Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) dominated the final stage with a finish next to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
