The ROUVY Route Awards 2027 | Contest Rules

The ROUVY Route Awards 2027 - a premium collection of the best routes filmed by the ROUVY community. Enter your route: the Top routes become part of a ROUVY challenge in spring 2027, and every featured route joins the collection. Creators of the Top 5 routes get a ROUVY subscription, and unique virtual jersey.

Up to 3 entries per creator, entries close on January 31st, 2027.

These rules apply to The ROUVY Route Awards 2027 route contest. By entering, you also agree to ROUVY's general Contest Rules and Terms of Use.

1. What the contest is

We're looking for the best routes created by the ROUVY community. The top routes will be featured in a premium route collection and route challenges in spring 2027, and their creators will be rewarded.

2. Who can enter

• Anyone with a ROUVY account who has created a route on ROUVY.
• You must be the creator of the route(s) you enter.
• You can enter up to 3 routes.

3. How to enter

• Submit your route(s) via the official entry form: Form here
• Entries close on 31 January 2027.

4. Route requirements

• The route must be published on ROUVY.
• Any distance can enter. A route doesn't need to fit one of the three categories – Best Short Route, Best Climb, or Best Scenic Ride – to be considered: a route that doesn't fit any category can still be chosen by the ROUVY team as one of the 2 editors' choice routes in the Top 5.
• The route must not contain advertising, third-party logos, or self-promotion.
• The route must not violate the privacy or rights of others and must comply with applicable laws.

5. What entering means

• By submitting a route, you grant ROUVY permission to feature it in the Route Awards collection, route challenges, and promotion of the contest and collection.
• ROUVY may adjust the route name, thumbnail, and description so the collection feels consistent. The route remains credited to you as its creator.

6. Selection and judging

• Routes are evaluated by the ROUVY team. We look at visual attractiveness, production quality, the ride experience, uniqueness of the location, the story behind the route, terrain variety, suitability for the wider community, technical readiness, and the geographic diversity of the whole collection.

• The ROUVY team shortlists the best routes in each category for a community vote in March 2027. The Top 3 from each category then advance to the ROUVY Spotlight in April 2027. During the Spotlight, a final vote decides the winner of each category, and the ROUVY team adds 2 more routes of its own choice to complete the Top 5. The results of the vote are final.

Best Short Route - a great ride that doesn't need to be a long one. Max 20 km, max 400 m elevation.

Best Climb - a proper climb, whatever the distance. Min 300 m elevation gain, min 30 m of climbing per km.

Best Scenic Ride - beautiful landscapes, striking views, a place unlike anywhere else. Any distance.

7. Winners and rewards

• All shortlisted routes join the premium ROUVY route collection, and the Top 3 from each category are featured in the ROUVY Spotlight challenge in April 2027.
• The community votes twice – once in March and again during the Spotlight – to pick the winner of each of the three categories: Best Short Route, Best Climb, and Best Scenic Ride. The ROUVY team then adds 2 more routes of its own choice to complete the Top 5.
• Creators of the Top 5 routes receive a ROUVY subscription, and the special Editor's Choice virtual jersey.
• Winners will be announced in May 2027.

9. General

• ROUVY reserves the right to update these rules or cancel the contest if necessary. In case of any dispute, ROUVY's general Contest Rules apply.
