Mui Dinh is a beautiful coastal area in Ninh Thuan Province, Vietnam. It is known for its breathtaking scenery, pristine beaches, and serene atmosphere. The area is relatively untouched by tourism. This makes it an ideal destination for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
HaLong Bay, on the Gulf of Tonkin off the northeast coast of Vietnam, in the province of Quang Ninh, is known for its serene emerald waters and many towering islands protruding from the water topped by lush green rainforests. The bay is one of the world's seven wonders of nature. These mysterious land formations create a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars and a maze of jewel-like islands with unusual outcrops, caves, and coves. Because of their precipitous nature, most islands are uninhabited and remain untouched. The bay has earned its status and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Rouvy route segment takes you through a unique landscape of limestone mist-cloaked mountain pinnacles displaying some of the most magnificent scenery in the country. You'll be heading south over 15km on a route with a 2% average gradient and 277m of ascent. Here we will explore the hidden charm of the rocky Dong Van plateau, a registered UNESCO Global Geopark, where 80% of the terrain is rocky and where ancient fossils from 400 to 600 million years ago can be found. Because of its mountainous topography, Ha Giang is one of the poorest provinces of Vietnam where agriculture is a challenge.
This flat, scenic route of cultural heritage and natural wonders, takes you through rural Ninh Bin province. Cycle the varied course as you go through beautiful, lush green rice fields and winding rivers. Along the way are attractions such as Trang An, an eco-tourism paradise where you’ll catch glimpses of unusual limestone outcrops. The Trang An eco-tourism site, also called “Ha Long Bay land”, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Other landmarks are Tam Coc and Hoa Lu, the ancient capital.
Take a ride through the exotic and beautiful district of Moc Chau in Northwest Vietnam, forming part of the mountainous Son La province, 200km west of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. Enjoy its hilly valleys and fields of plum and cherry trees. Cycle through vast green tea plantations that spread as far as the eye can see and enjoy the lush and indigenous countryside. Encounter the many rural farmlands with ethnic villages in a natural subtropical landscape on the undulating 20km route.
Your journey starts in the capital city Tuy Hoa, an agricultural centre and fishing port in southeastern Vietnam on the South China Sea. The route is mostly fast and flat in the first half. Then the scenery changes, becoming more rugged as you leave the shoreline and dunes heading towards the climbs that weave along a beautiful coastline with the sea on your left and mountains on your right, ending with spectacular views over the historic and picturesque Vung Ro Bay.
